Answer this question: Does the God who lavishly provides you with his own presence, his Holy Spirit, working things in your lives you could never do for yourselves, does he do these things because of your strenuous moral striving or because you trust him to do them in you? Don't these things happen among you just as they happened with Abraham? He believed God, and that act of belief was turned into a life that was right with God.

Galatians 3:5-6

Getting ready for church this morning.  I met with Debbie Barrett yesterday to finish work on the retreat.  She has really put a lot of work in it and I think that everyone is really going to enjoy themselves.

I can't believe that we have already lead about 9 retreats together (including the ones at Midway Baptist).  There are lots of great memories about our favorites.  Of course I will never forget the prayer rooms we did our first year in our new building.  We wanted it dark but without light switches (Deer Park building code), we spent 4 hours covering the lights in the ceiling so when movement happended in the room and the lights came on, it would still be dark.

Roger happened by after we completed the project and said, "why didn't you just cover the motion detector?"  ...

Dah....  Because we are girls!  See you at Church.
